I would thing that 1000 dollars is a little expensive for scrap. If you consider the hours required to salvage any part?
I had a Ford F150 go up one year There was not a usable item on the truck. ....

Eric is right, even the major components would be risky.
I know a little about fire damage from a good friend who is in the resoration business, fire & water damage mostly, and I have been to some of his fire jobs, one in particular I recall was a fire in a warehouse, the I-beams had melted into spaghetti from the heat. I don't think the strength of that B/H of FEL would be the same now either.

How much does that set up weight. Scrap steel is going for $200-$250 per scrap ton right now. ....
